Press coverage of advanced education is rare, which is a shame because advanced learners shouldn’t be ignored. Telling more of their stories is apt to make good things happen for these children.

I was excited when I began to get notifications, but virtually all of them have been for local athletes described as "gifted" as their sport . I guess they are the only ones who are allowed to be unapologetically exceptional in the US. A single college coach in our state makes about as much as all our districts combined spend on k-12 services for academically gifted students.
